As traveller, artist, and educator, I find photography to be a powerful way to explore the world & capture the essence of people, places & experiences.

My journey behind the lens kicked off in 2017 when I got a job washing dishes in Yellowstone National Park. I had the transformative experience of exploring my home for the summer with new friends from all walks of life, a few of whom were photographers! I began toying with a camera, snapping some of my first decent (& terrible) shots & fell in love with visual storytelling.

Seven years later, my love for the craft is stronger than ever! I received a BA in visual journalism in 2021, taught high school photography & yearbook from 2021-2024, & have taken a “yes” approach to freelance adventures of many kinds. Whether I’m embracing tried-and-true techniques or playfully experimenting with new styles, my passion lies in capturing authentic moments that reflect the unique beauty of whatever moment I’m documenting.
